Marigny deMauriac has over a decade of experience working in finance. She earned her Accredited Asset Management Specialist™ designation (2016) and her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation (2020), which coincided with the launch of deMAURIAC, a 100% women-owned, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and Registered Investment Advisory firm. Marigny further distinguished herself by attaining the Accredited Behavioral Finance Professional (ABFP®) designation, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the psychological factors that influence economic behavior and financial decision-making.

Before entering finance, she earned her Master's in Counseling and worked in mental health, which laid the foundation for her collaborative approach to client relationships. She envisions a world where people can engage in productive discussions about money without feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Marigny helps clients align finances with core values, enabling them to live simpler, more intentional, lives.

Previously, Marigny served as Director of Women's Business Programs & Development at the Women's Business Enterprise Council South, where she supported over 1,100 women-owned businesses in accessing vital resources across Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and the Florida panhandle. Additionally, she held dual roles at a Fortune 100 finance firm, focusing on financial planning and diversity, equity, and inclusion as Regional Director of Women's Inclusion in Louisiana. In this capacity, she successfully recruited and retained women in finance, quadrupling the number of women advisors in her region during her two year tenure in that position, while simultaneously managing over $50 million in investment and insurance assets within her branch.

Marigny currently serves on the Advisory Board for both the Loyola University New Orleans School of Business Entrepreneurship & Innovation Center and the Loyola University Mental Health Counseling Department. She is also thrilled to mentor students in the inaugural Tulane Youth Entrepreneur Academy, a program through Tulane University's Innovation Institute that helps aspiring entrepreneurs launch their own businesses.
